Maternity pictures for Nick and Erin

This is a bit of a #TBT (throw back Tuesday)Blog. Especially since this blog did not exist when this photo shoot took place.

Here is a little bit of a background. Before I joined forces with Erin Odell to create Picture ME Studios, (BTW she's the E in PictureME and I'm the M. As in Marc. Get it?) we have been very good friends for I dont even know how long, but she married one of my best friends and to sum it all up, she is really cool.

When they were due with their first child, she had approached me about doing Maternity pictures for them and showed me some examples she saw online. Most of which were filled with snow, and while this shoot was going to take place in February, the winter was somewhat mild and I was anticipating having to Photoshop the snow that she wanted.

Well guess what? As luck would have it, it snowed that day! I had them meet me at my parents house because I thought the park behind where they lived would be the perfect location. Plus, as a Photographer, one of the greatest tools to have is being familiar with the location. Since I basically grew up at this park, I knew it like the back of my hand. We drove to Bucksmill Park in Colts Neck, NJ and started to take some test shots. It was of course cold and wet and the snow started to become mixed with rain, but we walked through the park and found some great places to shoot. I give her a lot of credit for all the walking in these conditions while being so pregnant! Without further ado, here are the shots that came out of it!
